The department has well –equipped lab in the areas of Electronics,Integrated circuits,Analog&Digital Communication, microwave and optical fiber communication in addition to
this, the department has well-equipped computer lab. It is also provided with the labs in the field of digital signal processing viz. MAT land ADSP processor. The satellite earth station to cover the weather report is also
installed by the department . The additional facilities in the department are Doppler Radar and softwares for digital communications, multisim , circuit make, VLSI design and VHDL design with FPGA. The M.E degree course in
communication system was started in the academic year 2002-2003. Seminar , workshops, quiz competition, national level paper contest, Intra –departmental paper contest , group discussion etc are being conducted every year by
the Association of Electronics & Communication Engineering (AECE) to update the students knowledge skills. The creditable performance of AECE always exhibits its unity and determination.
