Enterprise servers@NICE
NICE workstations are powered by world's leading Business Computer Servers.  The IBM RS/6000 server powered by AIX operating system with Lotus Domino acts as our corporate POP3 email server. 

IBM AS/400 e-series Midrange Computer System, one of the world's most powerful business server is equipped in one of the workstations to offer training on its administration tasks and programming interfaces to the students.  It has got built-in database (DB2/400), network management features, built-in security and the IBM http server enables secured data access to the browser fingertips.

Sun Ultra 10 server powered by SOLARIS 8 operating system was installed in the Internet workstation of NICE to enable proxy service and caching for Internet access to the campus.

Wipro net power powered with Windows NT and Microsoft back office server is acting as another proxy server for Internet connection sharing.

Campus networking@NICE
Campus networking was done using optical fiber communication system to enable computer communication between departments and workstations for Internet access and other applications.  High-speed Intel switches & CISCO routers are installed to improve the network performance and to manage network traffic. 

Video Conferencing@NICE
ISDN based, VSAT based and LAN based video conferencing is set up to meet the fast demands in organizing and executing educational level meetings and to practice distant seminars.

Recently, multi-point video conferencing has been set up to execute video conferencing with universities from any part of the world.  With this facility, more than two universities can participate in conferencing at the same time.

Internet & Satellite communication@NICE
Internet connection requirements for the campus is met by satellite links. The available modes of links in the campus are: -

1.FTDMA VSAT - 64 Kbps shared
2.Direc-Pc VSAT - 64 Kbps shared
3.SCPC VSAT - 128 Kbps dedicated


The students of our college can avail the Internet facility round the clock, through our dial-up Internet access service.

Computer Laboratories @NICE

The various laboratories in the campus are equipped with more than 700 computers with all necessary software for education.  The computers include, advanced servers and latest Pentium IV systems.  In addition to the computer facilities, NICE is equipped with advanced inject and Laser printers, colour Scanners and Plotters.

Software@NICE

NICE is equipped with all necessary and advanced licensed software for training the students in different platforms.  Oracle 9i Web Application Server, Iplanet web application server, IBM Web sphere Application server, Oracle 8i database, IBM DB2/400, Microsoft Back office server, Microsoft visual studio, Sybase, Novell NetWare, Sun tools for Java and other languages, Oracle JDeveloper, Oracle Designer, IBM Visual Age for Java, IBM Web Sphere studio, MS-Office, FoxPro, c & c++ compilers, Windows NT/98/ME/2000, Unix, Linux are the few software resources for training the students on the Middleware development, Database, programming and networking skills.
