The multi-conferencing architecture of NICE facilitates video conferencing between several departments, classrooms and seminar halls.  NICE has set up in-door video conferencing within the campus through Local Area Network.  Apart from this, multi-conferencing has also been set up through ISDN and VSAT to enable video conferencing between remote universities and other organizations.   With this facility, the following can be practiced in NICE:-
 
1. Students can attend classroom sessions and seminars conducted by remote universities.

2. Staff can attend seminars and have live discussions with other universities.

3. Officials who are within the campus can organize meetings immediately.

4. Officials can take important decisions very quickly without gathering in a meeting hall

In the viewer screen, one quadrant is allotted for self-viewing.  In the other three quadrants, either participants can be viewed as continuous presence or participants can be viewed when they rise their voice to participate in the discussion (voice over IP).  NICE MCU is capable of connecting 15 conferencing terminals at the same time.
