                       Noorul Islam Educational Trust was established in the year 1984 under the Chairmanship of Dr. A.P. Majeed Khan, to impart Technical / Science / Medical Education to the society particularly for the weaker section of the society. At present the following institutions are running under the Noorul Islam Educational Trust.

               The above Institutions are excellent in their infrastructure facilities and academic activities under respective Universities and Medical Board.  All the staff members are highly qualified and their selections are made by duly constituted staff selection committee. The members of staff are well paid as per Govt./AICTE/UGC norms which ever is applicable. 

             Noorul Islam College of Engineering is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. Also it is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA, AICTE) and obtained ISO 9001:2000 certification by the Department of Information Technology, Govt. of India, New Delhi.

             The students are getting considerable number of University ranks every year in Anna University.  Our College is rated in the 19^th position among more than 252 Engineering Colleges under Anna University, Tamilnadu.  Other Institutions under our Trust are also excellent in their performance in their respective fields.

             Noorul Islam Educational Trust is also lending help to Government Schools in Kanykumari District by providing Computer Systems and extending Computer Education to concerned staff. Also the Trust used to conduct Health Camps in neighboring villages, Health Awareness Programmes etc. for the benefit of common people.

• The Trust has funded for the conduct of International Conferences, National Conferences, Seminars etc. in many disciplines over years.  Also conducted State level Tournaments and Athletic meets etc

• The Trust has constituted 500 scholarships, of Rs.500/- each to students of VIII and IX standards of Southern Districts of Tamilnadu after conducting a common examination every year.

• The University rank holders and other meritorious students of our college are honoured by giving Gold Medals by the Trust.

• Educational scholarships are given to the children of staff members of the Institutions every year.

• Monthly salary is given to selected school computer staff members where ever it is needed.

• Also the Trust is giving financial aid to orphanages, Cancer centers, AID centers etc.

• The Tamilnadu government has given awards to our chairman twice for “Popularization of Science” among Young Students
