This course provides an in depth study of the concepts, practices, and methods used in the engineering of software applications and software intensive systems. The study of these concepts, practices, and methods is directed towards helping students acquire the basic skills and knowledge for developing software products and working on software projects.

                 The Major areas covered in the course are software engineering discipline, process and life cycle models, process measurement and improvement, planning and project management, requirements development and management, software architecture and design, implementation, testing techniques, delivery, maintenance, and object-oriented methods.
