The department is known for its discipline and for the importance it gives to equip the students to meet the challenges of the highly competitive software market.The association of Department of Computer Applications is “SPARKS”, its main aim is to develop various skills of the students. This department is organizing national level seminars and paper contests at regular intervals. Experts from the filed of software development are sourced to present seminars and demonstration sessions on contemporary practice. |

The department provides an exclusive full-fledged laboratory equipped with more than 75 Pentium systems. Also the MCA students can use the Main Frame facility using AS 400e server and access the Internet through HCL infinity systems and Wipro Net power systems powered with Windows2000 based Microsoft Proxy Server. IBM RS6000 RISC based server acts as our mail server. All the systems in the Computer Laboratory are connected with internet. The laboratory is also equipped with high-end software like IBM Websphere Application Server, Websphere Application Developer, Net.data, DB@, Oracle 9i Application Server, iPlenaet Application Server, Oracle 9i Database and Integrated development Environment software like oracle Jdeveloper and Sun’s Forte for Java. |
