The department has highly qualified and experienced faculty members. The department is well equipped with a department Library and four computer laboratories with internet connectivity. The prime systems available in our campus are IBM AS/400e, IBM RS6000, Wipro Net Power 5210 Machine , Sun Enterprise Ultra 10 Machine and HCL infinity 2350T Machine and department students can access these systems from the department laboratory through the Wireless LAN link. SEBEX,Association of Software Engineers conducts periodic seminars, technical paper contest and Quiz competition to impart technical skills among the budding software engineers.

           M.Sc Software Engineering – 5 Years This course provides an in depth study of the concepts, practices and methods used in the engineering of software applications and software intensive systems. The study of these concepts, practices and methods is directed towards helping the students acquire the basic skills and knowledge for developing software products and working on software projects.

           M.Sc Software Engineering – 2 Years This course provides the knowledge needed for Software Project Managers to plan and manage projects, institute technical and management process, improve software process maturity, understand the importance of standards, promote sound software engineering principles and best practices and deliver quality products on time.

           M.Sc Information Technology – 2 Years The explosion of E-commerce has dramatically changed the way in which business operate, generate revenue and attract new customers. This program integrates business skills with technological expertise in order to maximize one’s ability to impact a company profile on the Internet.

           M.Sc Computer Technology – 2 Years This course is intended to give the students a more specialized knowledge in the evolving field of Internet/ Intranet/ Extranet technologies. This course focuses on assembling, repairing and maintenance of computer machines. It also provides the knowledge needed for a hardware engineers to identify and solve Hardware and Networking problems.

           B.Sc Computer Technology – 3 Years This course provides a basic foundation needed for a computer technologist. It also provides the student with the ability to analyze, asses and solve computer technological problems. The major topics covered in this course are mathematical foundations in computer science, PC hardware troubleshooting and maintenance, Computer Networks and Parallel Processing.
